Could Pierre Gasly be on top of his game?

It's hard to predict something about his career for now, but last season he proved us a few critical points about how he'll be leading his level as the best driver on the grid. Reviewing back his first race in 2017 Malaysian Grand Prix as a Formula One driver to be partnering up with Daniil Kyvat taking their seats to be the Toro Rosso driver, Gasly experienced an excellent offer for a promotion from his current career in driving the Formula E car however moving onto the next season he never managed to get a podium or even to be the top three drivers on the standing. Always got overscored from his fellow teammates and other drivers who have successfully proved that they're the better individuals and the ones who get full support from the team's car.

Jumping out to the 2019 season where the 'honey badger' (Daniel Ricciardo) is declared to be over the contract with Aston Martin Red Bull racing that's still under the command of Christian Horner, it makes Red Bull think of a something to move Gasly to take Ricciardo's seat to be partnering back with their competitive driver whose eyes are set for the world champion Max Verstappen himself. We heard it ourself from the opened documentary in Drive to Survive Episode 5: Great Expectations about the talk and statement between Helmut Marko and Christian, is Gasly the right person to be Max teammate because no driver's just right to be competing Max or even to overlap him by the time being.

We all can see the pressures on Gasly shoulders as the Red Bull team is expecting him to manage something that says he's worth it, Gasly keeps on pushing his limits not to lose his seat even though we can conclusively conclude there are a few terrible crashes and also some technical problem as he's driving under the Red Bull's name.

Observing along the way after a tight twelve races, Red Bull makes a quiet scene through the shocking promotion to move Alex Albon, who's a rookie at that time to take over Gasly's seat with the fact that he does not please any of Red Bull's expectation. Should we say that he's far from on top of his game as he's experiencing a demotion to be back on his old team once more wearing the red and blue racing suit, those are the dark days for his career inside the 2019 season seeing the rookie himself posing for pictures and a few posters to remove the french driver out of the Red Bull's profile.

But that's not the thing that I wanted to show you here, and it's not all about the pressures or even the failures he has gone through instead, we're going to talk about the rise of the flying french man in his success down in the Brazilian GP 2019 with Toro Rosso. We've seen how tight the race is as Gasly tries to get a podium after his name—starting from P6, alongside the rookie itself who's on P5 and Romain Grosjean on P7. The battle from the start of the race between Norris, Leclerc, and also Ricciardo seems tight and thrilling. It happens to be the reason why adrenaline and spirits light up the way for the Brazilian Grand Prix; however, we see that Gasly only manages to make it till P7 until laps 54, where the safety car finally released due to the incident that includes both of the Mercedes drivers.

Alex Albon overlapped both of the Ferrari's driver making him as the one who leads inside the top 3 drivers here even though sadly it has to be canceled because of Lewis Hamilton who makes contact with his car to be stopping the Red Bull's driver from being on the podium that day. The other fight is between Gasly and Hamilton here since they're still defending their position on this very last moment before the race ended.

We heard the happy team radio's from the french driver who has successfully nailed the race under his belt. Regarding the fact that most people believe that he's just lucky after all with the case that big names from this race are having their bad days until that they can't make it till the end as a finisher, It was Gasly's time to shine and to show that he's worth it, he's the man who brings his team up there on the podium (the second place to be exact leaving Max Verstappen as the leader of the race)

"It was a really intense last couple of laps. To get your first podium in Formula 1 is super-emotional, especially with all of the things that happened last year and what I had to go through-particularly after what happened at Spa (being moved from Red Bull Racing to Toro Rosso). It was an intense year and it was really important for me to finish on a high, but I didn't really expect to get that podium. I could not have hoped for a better finish than holding off Lewis Hamilton for a second. It was the most exciting race I've had in my career." Explained Pierre Gasly himself on how important was that for him and his career down on an interview with F1

Although he's not as consistent as the other driver who keeps on maintaining their points, he snatched the 7th place out of 13 other outstanding drivers there, which makes him allegedly not a shady driver, after all moreover, the French driver is ready for the new season ahead as he keeps on improving.

Since there are many factors about a driver's performance, we can't judge any of their results or even standings, either way, they could be the new superstar on the grid or even the fastest. At the end of the statement, I would say it's a possible thing to be true since Gasly is a promising driver, and as Scuderia Alpha Tauri keeps on developing their cars to be number one, it would suit the driver's talents equally. They could be on Mclaren's last position for this season if their performance changed into something just right for the statement "competitive."

Moving on with the official F1 magazine prediction that they have predicted for both of the Alpha Tauri drivers, Gasly only got half support to be on top as they're predicting him for 13th place because of the chance where he would tussle with Renault's Frenchman, Esteban Ocon with the prophesied number of the 10th place, Regarding his vast number of feisty drives out there.

Based on the difficulties he had in 2019, and what we can expect from the new and rebranded team he has mentioned many things he got from last season along with the demoted or even the harsh frustration he has faced.

"I feel more prepared as a driver; I now have a clear idea of what I need and what I want, from the team and myself," He explained how he's feeling after a tough time last year in losing his Red Bull drive and returning to Toro Rosso mid-season.

"
There are many things to say about that chapter, but for me, it is over. I've turned to the page, learned the lessons, and taken all the good things on board to make me better as a driver." the interview shows us a lot of new aspects that we can probably count on in the future dealing with the fact that their target is to reach the fifth place in the constructors' championship.

Gasly has reported the newest condition about his new team that they have made a step forward this year as they got a massive motivation from everybody in the team because of the two podiums that they have brought to their homes. It's going to be an exciting year perhaps with the existence of the other factors with their physical training and also practices that make the whole performance better.

I hope for the best as we're ending these articles leaving a bunch of new thoughts and also any other preferences on your head. There are so many things to be unfolded this year, this season. There might also be many surprises either or pleasant or inadequate at the end, for Alpha Tauri itself that describes us a modern and exquisite livery with some promising features for their performances in the future. The results to prove they're the best on the grid are at the end of the game; there will be only one champion and also one best team constructors depending on how they make their appearances later on this season.
